Nigel has performed with a large variety of different ensembles, such as symphony orchestra, chamber ensembles focusing on contemporary repertoire, rock bands of various sub-genres, free improvisation ensembles, pop groups, and electro-acoustic ensembles. He has also been involved in different artistic media, such as film, poetry, dance, literature, and theater. He has performed with and/or composed for the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra, the Invisible Lines collaborative group, the Shakespeare in the Shade theater group, the Balcony Poets, the Prism Saxophone Quartet, and the Dover Quartet, and was runner-up in Oklahoma City University’s composition competition in 2011, recipient of the Maddy Award at the Interlochen Arts Camp in 2011, and was a finalist in the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer’s Competition in 2012.
